Turning Healthy People Into Sick Care Slaves

Yes, they are at it again!

The Democrat candidates are making “health care” an issue and are trying to turn everyone into a slave of their SICK CARE system.

Health care really is what you do, and if they have their way, choosing what you do to stay healthy and care for yourself will be even more restrictive than it is today, once SICK CARE is imposed upon you.

If Hillary Clinton prevails, you will be forced to pay for things you may not have any intention of using. John Edwards was even going to force you into the drug-laden medical system by mandating that everyone get an annual physical which would lead to who-knows-what with the way the system is run, but fortunately his bid for office has ended.

Ah, the fascism behind it all. And in a country that once celebrated freedom.

Cold Weather and Colds

[This little article is more than a couple of years old, but the cold weather is still with us, so I’m reposting it here.]

Does cold weather bring on colds?

Were you ever told to bundle up on a winter day so you wouldn’t catch cold? Have you ever said this to your children?

Our daughter has been visiting the snow belt she once called home. The other day she remarked it was nice we kept the house warm, after seeing some friends who kept the temperature relatively cool. She was afraid the baby would catch cold in that environment.

Of course, cold weather doesn’t cause colds. As her husband quickly pointed out, colds are caused by viruses.

But this got me thinking.

Why is it that we suffer from colds in colder weather?

Is it because we are more confined and the cold virus is more easily spread when people gather in closed quarters?

This is a common assumption and there might be a little bit to it, but no more than a small, contributing factor.

Is because cold weather is harder on us and brings our resistance down?

Maybe there’s something to that, as well. Or maybe it’s having the cold that brings our resistance down.

But I think there’s something else, something that’s overlooked. Something I’ve never heard mentioned that makes a lot of sense when we look at what we do know about colds.

Cold weather simply makes it easier for the cold virus to survive.

In fact, as Dan Lee Dimke has demonstrated in his cold cure procedure, cold viruses can be destroyed and colds cured with the proper application of heat and humidity.

As a practical matter, I’ve found that using colloidal silver is faster and easier than the process he describes, but heat and humidity address the issue of colds and why we usually get them during the winter months and not during the summer.

To better understand this, let’s look at how a cold works.

A cold is basically a nasal infection. It can lead to sore throats and other things, but a cold lives and dies in your nose. The rhinovirus, strains of which account for most colds, gets its name from that fact. Rhino means nose.

Cold viruses thrive at temperatures slightly cooler than the 98.6 degrees considered normal. So when faced with this invader, your body’s first defense is stuffiness.

Why?

Because breathing through your nose keeps your nasal passages cooler and the virus alive.

But when you get stuffy and are forced to breathe through your mouth, your nose, no longer air cooled, reaches a higher temperature and becomes a much less friendly environment for the virus. The virus dies, and after your body does some necessary cleanup and repair work, you’re good as new.

So what does cold weather have to do with it?

Well, Dr. Watson, cold, dry, winter air is just what the virus needs.

Even in the snow belt, here, summer temperatures are generally in the 80’s and 90’s, the humidity is high, and breathing warm air makes it hard for the nose to stay cool while the rest of you is sweating.

During the winter, with most thermostats set below 70 degrees, probably in the 65 to 68 degrees range, the nose, which isn’t dressed to stay warm, becomes an easy breeding ground for the cold virus. Of course, the dry, winter air helps it along.

Doctors From Hell!

What I’ve recently been seeing from MD’s, Medical Doctors, is very disturbing. It makes me wonder why, if they have no real regard for the hurting, they ever chose medicine in the first place. This seems especially true as white, American born, male, doctors with a fatherly concern for the sick are seen less and less often by patients. And as dedicated nuns, who also once took care of the sick, have been replaced by hospital bureaucracies and more and more equipment.

The case that has me frothing involves three doctors, two females and a male from India.

First of all, why have so many women decided to choose medicine over the past 30 years?

To care for the sick?

Or because they could?

Or because they had something to prove?

From what I have recently observed, it has not been to care for people.

And why do we have so many foreign doctors – who can hardly be understood by their patients – flooding our country?

Think about it.

If they were really interested in helping people, the places they came from could certainly use their help.

So we can easily deduce, in the latter example, that helping people is not their motive, their driving force.

It’s something else.

Today’s doctors have become protected bureaucrats within a closed system that wants power and authority over everyone’s health, while their exaggerated, uncompetitive standing provides them with all the comforts and trappings they can accumulate, oftentimes on the backs of suffering people who can’t even afford their care.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not for socialized medicine. I’m not even for medicine in the closed, monopolistic, way it is practiced today. It is a racket bent on protecting itself while it drives up costs and profits. And it has already been socialized to the extent that virtually everyone now needs sickness insurance in order to be able to use it.

It seeks to control, but is out of control.

Worst of all, the system and the doctors populating it cause unnecessary pain and suffering and burden upon the lives of many of the people they claim their profession is there to help.

And that’s pretty pathetic.

Your best defense is to protect your health and to stay out of their clutches. That’s not always possible and wasn’t in this case, but it can be foolish and dangerous to leave yourself at the mercy of medicine.

Get Some Real Health Insurance!

How much are you paying each month for illness insurance, sickness insurance that will do nothing to insure your health?

And will throwing hundreds of your hard-earned dollars, monthly, at our nation’s sick care industry assure your good health?

Of course not!

Once again, it’s the medical/pharmaceutical/insurance complex calling something the opposite of what it really is to make it seem palatable while it whisks your dollars away. Yes, health insurance is, in realty, insurance for the sick.

Remember, “health care is what you do… sick care is what they do,” so insuring your health means taking a proactive approach toward it, by doing your body no harm and giving it what it needs to stay healthy.

Unless a disease is genetic, I firmly believe that most health problems people face result from their lifestyles, lifestyles fueled by ignorance, whether willful or not.

There are things that can harm health, by either inducing disease or making disease harder for the body to fight; and there are things that can advance health by bolstering the body’s resistance to disease.

In other words, things that can cause or contribute to the break down of biological systems, or things that can help build up and support their defenses.

What the human body does not need is what most Americans seem to be getting the most of – refined carbohydrates, artificial sweeteners and preservatives, hydrogenated oils, high-fructose corn syrup, excessive salt, and the chemicals used to process the foods most people now eat – when, in fact, what they need is an array of vitamins, minerals, amino-acids, and as now has been discovered, the phytonutrients that can be found in a variety of fruits and vegetables. Phytonutrients that unleash powerful antioxidants that battle your body’s breakdown and thereby help prevent the health bane of 20th Century – cancer and heart disease – while offering true health insurance for the 21st.

Insuring good health is based on prevention and nutrition. And since, in terms of nutrition, processed foods and modern agricultural practices leave much to be desired, supplementing makes sense. And liquid supplements, make the most sense since liquids allow nutrients to be readily put to use. One that I regularly use, is Limu Plus.

A little extra health insurance, in the form of a good, nutritional supplement never hurt, especially since it really can be insurance for your health rather than illness insurance in disguise!
